Based on updates issued in April 2025, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has imposed temporary restrictions on the issuance of visit, Umrah, and tourist visas for citizens of several countries, as part of preparations for the Hajj season and to ensure the safety of pilgrims.

The list includes 14 countries:

Egypt
Pakistan
India
Bangladesh
Indonesia
Iraq
Nigeria
Jordan
Algeria
Sudan
Ethiopia
Tunisia
Morocco
Important Notes:
Restrictions: These include the temporary suspension of short-term visit visas, family visits, e-tourist visas, and business visas from these countries.
Hajj Visa: These restrictions aim to regulate the Hajj season and limit the number of unauthorized pilgrims.
Ongoing Restrictions: Saudi Arabia may impose direct or indirect bans on its citizens traveling to certain countries experiencing security instability, such as Libya, Syria, Lebanon, Iran, Ukraine, Somalia, and Armenia. Saudi Airlines: Confirms that these restrictions apply to residents arriving in the Kingdom from these destinations, and are not necessarily a blanket ban for Saudi citizens. Ministry of Interior:
